Laser Cutting

The process of Laser cutting works by directing a high powered laser beam very precisely at the chosen material to either etch the material or cut right through. When cutting, the laser beam burns away at the material leaving you with a cutout shape that you have specified in your vector file. The cutting beam is very thin (typically around 0.1mm) and precise resulting in incredibly detailed and accurate cuts.

Pad Printing

Pad Printing is a method of decorating plastic parts wherein a silicone pad transmits the desired image to the plastic part.  Artwork supplied by the customer is made into a metal plate, which contains an etched image of the desired artwork. Ink is then spread onto this plate and removed leaving the wet ink only in the etched areas.  A silicone pad then picks up the ink in the etched area and transmits this image to the plastic part. A unique advantage of the pad printing process is that the image can be transferred to irregular surfaces since the silicone pad will conform to these surfaces during the transfer of ink.

Injection Molding

Injection molding is a manufacturing process for producing plastic injection molds from both thermoplastic and thermosetting plastic materials. Material is fed into a heated barrel, mixed, and forced into a mold cavity by a reciprocating screw or a ram injector, where the injection molded part cools and hardens to the configuration of the mold cavity. After a part is designed, molds are then manufactured. Injection molds are usually constructed using either steel or aluminum, and precision-machined to form the features of the desired parts.
